This policy explains what information RoofingSwap ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. RoofingSwap operates a marketplace that connects homeowners who request roofing help with licensed roofing contractors. RoofingSwap is a service of ROOFING SWAP LLC.
When a roofer purchases a lead, the homeowner's contact details (name, phone, email, address) are disclosed to that one roofer so they can provide an estimate. Each lead is sold to a single roofer. By submitting a request, homeowners consent to this disclosure.
We share limited data with vendors who help us run the service: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS alerts), Microsoft Clarity (analytics & session insights), Google Maps (address lookup), and Google Ads and Meta (advertising measurement, so we can tell which ads produce genuine estimate requests). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Homeowners who submit an estimate request and check the consent box receive text messages about that request: confirmations and follow-ups. Roofing contractors may separately opt in to text alerts about new leads, price changes, and account security codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. When a roofer purchases a lead, the homeowner's contact details are disclosed to that one contractor solely so they can provide the requested estimate, as described above; this is not marketing use of mobile opt-in data.

When you request an estimate, your contact details are disclosed to one roofing contractor so they can provide the quote you asked for. Under some state laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), that disclosure may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
You can opt out at any time. Email hello@roofingswap.com with the subject "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" (include the name, phone number, and email you submitted), use our contact form, or call (315) 525-4750. We will honor your request, stop any further disclosure of your information, and confirm when it is done. Opting out does not affect an estimate request already delivered to a contractor, and we never sell mobile opt-in data in any case.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
RoofingSwap is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
